We have been nominated @ The Electronics Industry Awards

We are very proud and honoured to have been listed alongside some of the world’s biggest names in electronics as having a huge impact on the industry – regionally in Lancashire, across the UK and beyond !

Nominated for two awards, Academic Support and Industry Personality of the Year (Nicola Mortimer), we are delighted that our efforts to highlight our fantastic industry have been noticed.

Tech Lancaster as an organisation has been nominated for a Business Award (Academic Support) due to the innovative skills training programme that is opening up our industry to allow later life career changers, veterans, minority groups, women to be supported to ensure that the industry is accessible to all, diverse and representative of our society.

Nicola, Programme Manager at Tech Lancaster, has personally co-ordinated courses all over the UK and spent many many hours providing support for students with their courses and employability. The most recent round of training finished in March and Tech Lancaster has accessed funding to roll out more skills courses at the end of 2023 into 2024.
